About the event
Who and what are The Ancestors? How and why would we want to relate to them?
This is an introduction intended to deepen our understanding of Ancestors as we are connected to them on personal/familial, communal, geographical, and global levels (and more!). We will also explore how acknowledging and relating to The Ancestors in our daily lives and spiritual/wellness practices can help us navigate this tumultuous time on Earth, reconnect, and heal. We will talk about the many types of Ancestors, considerations, share a bit, and look at ways to start relating to them in a way that is safe, practical, and reverent.
Please bring a photo of a loved one you wish to remember and/or small item(s) for a communal altar. If you don’t have a photo of your chosen one, any item that belonged to them or reminds you of them, or a favorite flower or food will work!
This event is not intended to be specific to any culture, spiritual path/religion. $66 per person Facilitator: Laurel Nicholson McCaslin
