About the event
In this 3 hour workshop you are invited to explore your inner world through an intentional cannabis journey.
Our experienced & credentialed guide, Yvette Carrie, will hold a safe space to honor the working of this most sacred plant medicine. After moving through ceremony honoring and imbibing this gentle, medicinal ally, you will lie down and get comfortable as Yvette takes you through a guided meditation accompanied by music to help you reach deeper states of awareness and healing. After the journey there will be space to share food and discuss what was experienced.
Cannabis sativa is a legal, safe and sacred medicinal tool which supports us in turning inward, resolving tensions stored deep within the body, tracking inner sensations, and releasing traumas from the nervous system.
It has a “shapeshifting” nature and can mimic other medicines, so you are likely to experience states that are similar to several other medicines in a single session, ranging from gentle MDMA to extreme DMT states. No other medicine creates such a diverse psychedelic experience.
Cannabis-Assisted Psychedelic Therapy (CAPT) is different than “getting high.” When used in an intentional container with a professionally trained psychedelic guide, this modality deepens the healing and transformational process.
Clients have reported: • Extreme body awareness and a synesthesia of somatic and visual senses • Active and very visual imaginal experiences and a deep connection with their intuition • A connection with the sacred, deeply meaningful and transcendent • A feeling of being very present, lucid and with a sense of agency during the experience • Profound new levels of nervous system regulation and trauma resolution • Developing a sense of agency in life, and important situations, and having more choice • Feeling a deeper connection with their sense of purpose
