Class Descriptions

Thank you for your interest in our classes. For your convenience, you will find them listed in alphabetical order.

 

All regular, weekly classes are $22 per person for drop-in, and free to members.

Divine Dance

Divine Dancing is a type of freestyle, freeform dance. Come feel liberated to move however you wish, honoring your body as you let the music take you on a journey. No experience necessary, all ages, genders, cultures, sizes are welcome! Please respect yourself and one another in this safe and sacred space. Bring comfortable clothes to move in & water to drink. See you on the dance floor!

Fridays at 7:00 PM. Led by Debbie Carlson-Gould.

Gentle Yoga (candle-lit)

If you're looking for a way to incorporate slow, mindful stretching and breathing into your wellness routine, Gentle yoga is for you! In this class we stay close to the ground the whole time as we focus on breath and bringing deep release within the body. Join us for this lovely practice to start your week off with much deserved self-love & self-care.

Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:00 PM. Led by Kelly George.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha is a yoga practice that utilizes all of the foundational yoga asanas or poses. These poses are sequenced to ready the body prior to moving through strengthening & balancing poses. Each class then ends in a restful & relaxed savasana allowing the body the opportunity to integrate your practice. Tuesdays & Thursdays at 5:00 PM.  Led by Kelly George.

Meditation & Mindfulness

In this class, we provide an immersive experience featuring a guided meditation that transports you to serene landscapes within your mind. As the soothing tones of our instructor's voice guide you, you'll find yourself sinking into a state of relaxation. Following the meditation, our sessions open up into heartfelt discussions about mindfulness
practices. In an atmosphere of serenity and intellectual engagement, casual conversations blend easily with profound wisdom.

Saturdays at 11:00 AM. Led by Debbie Carlson-Gould

Qigong

Qigong is a traditional form of internal martial arts to boost endurance, inner strength, and energy levels. It combines gentle movements, breathing, and meditation. By focusing on different breathing techniques and developing mind body awareness, Qigong helps to activate acupuncture meridians, balance the nervous system, enhance body immunity, and promote self-healing ability. In this class, we will introduce Eight Pieces of Brocade and Yi Ren® Qigong.

Wednesdays at 7:30 PM. Led by Peiwen Fannin.

Slow Flow Vinyasa Yoga

Slow Flow Vinyasa yoga is a gentler, more mindful practice of traditional Vinyasa. We will utilize meditation, breath-work, and body awareness in every class to ready our bodies for asana practice. Thoughtful sequencing with vinyasa flow will be the base for our journey into the poses as we build strength and create a sense of grounding. 

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:00 PM, and Saturdays at 9:30 AM. Led by Kelly George.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an ancient form of martial arts originally developed for self-defense. With its unique balance and coordination training, nowadays it has become a popular form of exercise practiced by people of all age for promoting physical and mental well-being. In this class, we’ll introduce essential Tai Chi principles, muscle strengthening and Yang Style 24 form. Mondays at 7:00 PM. Led by Peiwen Fannin.

Yin Yoga with Sound Bowls (candle-lit)

Yin yoga is a relaxing, meditative practice consisting of gentle, deep stretches lasting 3-5 minutes while supported by props. During these deep, supported poses Kelly will activate crystal sound bowls that coordinate to the chakra or energy center we are opening. Extremely relaxing, rejuvenating way to start off your week.
