About the event
Even if you’ve been “health conscious” for years, you might have a few confusions (or a lot!) around all the conflicting nutritional advice you’ve been hearing.
In this workshop, you’ll get key insights into how the human body interacts with what we put in it, for better or worse. You will learn to better understand how to optimize your health, including understanding how your individual needs might differ from others. You’ll also get some key health markers to track so you can make wiser choices and move forward with confidence.
This information is perfect for ‘midlife’ women and men (ages 30-80-ish) who are finding that body and health changes are catching up with them, and that strategies that might have worked in the past, well, they just aren’t working anymore!
• How to leverage nutrition to optimize health and minimize the need for meds as you age. (Lifestyle habits will be touched on briefly as well.) • Why there can be no “one size fits all” approach to nutrition. • Why there is SO much contradictory nutritional advice everywhere, and some tips on sorting through it. • Learn to work with your physiology for better health, rather than working against it (as dieting would, for example). • And a little on how functional testing (blood, hair, stool) can help with early detection, individualizing your best strategies, and track progress as you turn your health around.
In this workshop you will: • Get clear on common mistakes to avoid, and some key steps you can take now to start improving your health right away. • Gain confidence in your ability to take back control of your health while minimizing the need for medications as you age (blood sugar, heart, brain, digestion and more). • Get a workbook with key content and for note taking.
There will be plenty of time at the end for Q&A and discussion, to get many questions addressed (health, nutrition, digestion, functional testing, supplements, stress, mindset…).
$33 per person. Save the Date. Registration link coming soon.
