About the event

Winter  can be such a difficult season for so many of us. The long, dark days  can feel heavy & depressing. It can be a challenging season. Part of  the reason is that we are not aligned with the seasonal energy. ~~ The  way modern society has conditioned us to celebrate the winter holidays,  & the demands we put on ourselves, can keep us from our most  important work in winter: To REST. ~~ Too often, we go through  winter out of alignment with the seasonal energy: we work against it,  and it creates dis-ease in our spirits. ~~ Here is your invitation to get aligned with the natural cycles. When you do, the energy is deeply nourishing in your life. ~~ Here is your invitation to learn wisdom, and to share wisdom and support in circle. .............. Soothing  herbal tea is served. Bring a notebook or journal and a pen. And  anything else to help you feel comfortable and at ease. ~~ You may expect this general sequence of events: • Pull an oracle card for yourself • Five to ten minutes of silent contemplation of your intention for coming into circle. • Grounding • Invocation (each Sister reads/recites a portion) • Safe space agreements • Introductions • Winter Solstice meditation, • Release AND seed planting rituals • Reflective writing/Group Share • Closing Ritual • Afterglow: 10 - 15 minutes for connection, questions, chat, etc.

Facilitated  by Zen Heart Center Co-Creator Debbie Carlson-Gould, Shamanic  Practitioner, certified Spiritual Coach, certified Energy Coach,  certified Life Coach, certified Warrior Goddess Trainer
